Terms & Conditions
Please read these booking conditions carefully as they are the sole terms, conditions and policies (house rules & house manual) of the contract between you and Samsara Climbing Resort for all bookings.
A ‘booking‘ refers to any confirmed invoice of reservation sent via email.
Prices
- All prices listed are per person and are all in Euro currency unless otherwise stated.
- We reserve the right to change or amend prices at any time before you have booked.
Deposits and Payments
A deposit of 25% of the total booking fee is required at the time of the booking.
Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferable to a new booking. Transferable to a new booking can only be carried out once.
For all bookings, full payment must be received no less than 8 weeks prior to departure or at the time of booking. If full payment is not received by these dates, we reserve the right to cancel your booking, along with any relevant cancellation fees as set out in these terms and conditions.
In case of a No-show, or early departure, the cost of the entire stay, as originally booked and confirmed, will be charged.
Your booking is only confirmed once you have received detailed confirmation from Samsara Climbing Resort via email.
Cancellation fee
If you cancel a booking the following fees will apply
Period of notice before departure | Cancellation charge |
More than 8 weeks | Full deposit (25% of the total booking) |
Less than 8 weeks | 50% of the total booking |
Less than 4 weeks | 100% of the total booking |
If you fail to turn up 100% of your booking cost will still be charged.
Changes made by Samsara Climbing Resort
In the unlikely event that we need to significantly amend or cancel your booking, you can choose from one of the following options:
- Book another available week with us; paying or receiving the difference in price.
- Cancelling your holiday with a 100% refund of accommodation.
- Accept any amendments made to your booking.
We will inform you of any amendments to your holiday. Remember any changes made are from causes outside our control and we reserve the right to make these changes. We are not liable for any forced cancellations or changes that stem from adverse weather conditions, acts of God, fire, floods, terrorism, civil strife or riots, war, strikes, airport closures or any other circumstance that is beyond our control resulting in force majeure.
Travel Insurance
All persons under your booking must have travel insurance as Samsara Climbing Resort cannot be held responsible for any liability, losses, injuries or expenses you may incur. We strongly advise comprehensive travel insurance that cover our policies for amendments or cancellation fees is purchased at the time of booking.
We also advise you to check that your travel insurance cover sports climbing/bouldering and other activities you might do onsite.
Our responsibility
Samsara Climbing Resort cannot be held liable in any way if you or any person under the booking suffers from illness, bodily harm, or death, or loss of property of any kind. We ensure the core elements of your holiday are to an acceptable standard but all rock climbing, use of pool and transportation (transport to airport / climbing crag) are done at your own risk.
Your responsibility
Please remember that you are responsible for your actions and all members under your booking. If it is believed that any member of your party causes offence, distress, danger, damage or annoyance to either other guests, staff or property, we may terminate your booking with immediate effect. Thereafter we will not take responsibility for any party member; our contract with you will be terminated and the full cost of your booking forfeited without any compensation or refund or expenses you may incur.
If you are booking your own flights or any other means of transportation, please do not book these until your booking has been confirmed by Samsara Climbing Resort after receiving a booking reference number on email from us – this confirmation means we have availability for your booking.
You should ensure that you have a valid passport and, as many countries require expiry dates on passports to be a considerable length of time after the return from holiday, we would recommend that your passport is valid for 6 months after return.
You must have a valid travel insurance.
From our visitors we also expect adaptability, openness and adherence to climbing etiquette’s and safety.
Problems and complaints
If you have a complaint while you’re with us at Samsara Climbing Resort, please bring this to our attention immediately so we/you have the best chance of resolving your issue.
If you wish to complain you must do so within 14 days from the day of arrival back home.
Payment
We accept debit or credit cards, bank transfers or vipps. Please note that you are responsible for any transaction charges (will be added to your final invoice if applicable)

After you have booked your holiday with us, we will be in contact with you to plan your climbing week, ensure pre-reading material, schedule food plan (breakfast/dinner), health concerns or other holiday preferences can be organized.
